DRIVING LESSONS

I provide driving lessons using my tried and tested method of teaching learner drivers.

Firstly, I teach pupils to drive and control the car to a high standard.  We then work on decision making.

I explain fully what to do before we undertake any tasks and I use teaching aids where this is helpful.

Please don't hesitate to contact me to find out more.

Semi Intensive Course
£1800

30 Hours

The Semi Intensive Driving Course is conducted over about 8 weeks.

It is designed for people who want to pass quickly, but at a more comfortable pace.

Most people will take between 30 and 40 hours to reach test standard.

I no longer do the one week course as I feel this is not a particularly beneficial way to learn to drive.

This  price is for driving lessons only: pupils will pay for their own driving test.

Please contact me for more information.

ABOUT MY DRIVING SCHOOL

My name is Stephen Mullen and I have been a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) since 2006.

I live in Cumbernauld and I only teach pupils from Cumbernauld due to time constraints

I cover the Airdrie test centre only. It is only 15 minutes from most places in Cumbernauld, therefore you will receive more value for money from your lessons as travelling time to test area is decreased.

I use a Vauxhall Petrol Corsa 19 plate for driving lessons.

CHOOSING YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Home: News

If you are paying someone to teach you to drive, they must be approved and registered with the Driving Standards Agency(DSA).

Only a registered Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) can charge money for teaching you to drive.

Recent surveys indicate that nine in ten learners who passed both theory and practical tests first time were taught by an instructor.

A fully qualified approved driving instructor (ADI) must display a green certificate on the windscreen of the car while teaching you.

DVSA is responsible for maintaining and checking the standards of all approved driving instructors (ADI), who to qualify must:

  • Have held a full driving licence for at least four years.

  • Pass a much tougher theory test than the one learner drivers take.

  • Pass a strict driving test,

  • Be registered with DVSA.

  • Display an ADI identification certificate on the windscreen of the tuition vehicle.
